02 · Credit Packs

Top up any time.

Run out of monthly credits before your billing cycle resets? Buy a one-time credit pack. Available to every Kaiber user Starter, Creator, Pro, even no-subscription Flex accounts.

Kaiber's credit packs are a straightforward way to extend your generation capacity without committing to a higher subscription tier. The bigger the pack, the lower the per-credit cost. Top-up credits never expire they remain in your account permanently, even if you cancel your subscription. Subscription credits, by contrast, refresh and reset at each billing cycle.

Mini Pack
300credits
~1.7¢ per credit
$5
Small Pack
1,000credits
~1.5¢ per credit
$15
Super Pack
20,000credits
~1.25¢ per credit
$250
Pro discount on packs

If you're on the Pro plan ($99/month), you get 20% off all credit packs. The Super Pack drops from $250 to $200, the Big Pack from $50 to $40. For high-volume creators consistently topping up, the Pro tier's pack discount alone can pay for the upgrade.

03 · Pricing by Product

What you get per product.

Kaiber is three connected products Canvas, Cuts, and Editor. Each one has its own relationship with credits and tier-gated features. Here's the breakdown of how pricing applies to each.

C

Canvas

The AI generation workspace · where most of your credits get spent

Canvas is where credits are actually consumed every image, every video, every model run charges against your monthly allowance. Different models cost different amounts, and the matrix below maps them. Premium models (Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Luma Ray, Runway Gen-4.5) require Creator tier or higher; Starter sees only the standard model library.

Veo 3.1 36 credits/sec · video + native audio
Kling, Luma ~10–15 credits/sec · cinematic video
Hailuo ~8 credits/sec · fastest iteration
Flux Pro ~3–5 credits/image · photorealism
Canvas allowance per tier

Starter ($10) gives 500 credits and 1 Canvas with 3 concurrent generations. Creator ($29) bumps to 1,500 credits, 5 Canvases, and 15 concurrent generations. Pro ($99) opens to 5,000 credits, unlimited Canvases, and unlimited concurrent generations. Visionary delivers unlimited credits.

C

Cuts

Beat-synced auto-edit · feature-gated by plan, not by credits

Cuts is the auto-editor that turns music + visuals into beat-synced videos. Critically, the Cuts process itself doesn't directly consume credits what changes between tiers is which Cuts features you can access and how many videos you can batch at once. Starter users have no Cuts access at all.

Starter No access to Cuts
Creator Batch 2 videos · auto-sync · lyrics
Pro Batch 10 videos · all features incl. auto-clip
Visionary Unlimited batch capacity
Where credits enter Cuts

If you feed Cuts AI-generated visuals from Canvas, those upstream Canvas generations cost credits at the standard model rates. Cuts itself the beat-detection, auto-cutting, multi-aspect export is included in your plan with no per-render charge. Auto-clip videos (the auto-extract-best-moments feature) is exclusive to Pro and Visionary.

E

Editor

Manual timeline editing · unlimited on Creator, Pro, Visionary

Editor is the manual timeline NLE inside Superstudio sequence clips, layer audio, add transitions and text, export in multiple aspect ratios. Editor doesn't consume credits at all. The only tier-gating on Editor is how many separate timeline edits you can keep active.

Starter 1 Timeline Edit only
Creator Unlimited Timeline Edits
Pro Unlimited + 4K export
Visionary Unlimited everything
Editor is the most accessible part

Even the Starter plan gives you one full Timeline Edit at no additional cost beyond the $10/month subscription. Linked-media regeneration (the killer Editor feature where you can re-run Canvas Flows from inside the timeline) does cost credits when you actually trigger a regeneration but the editing layer itself is free of charge.

04 · Compare

How Kaiber stacks up against the rest.

A side-by-side comparison of Kaiber's pricing against the four most-compared AI video platforms Runway, Pika, Luma Dream Machine, and Kling based on current published pricing as of 2026.

Plan / Feature Kaiber Creator Runway Standard Pika Standard Luma Plus Kling Standard
Entry monthly price $29 (Creator) $15 ($12 annual) $28 (Standard) $29.99 (Plus) ~$10 (Standard)
Free trial / starter $5 for 5 days, 300 credits 125 one-time credits Free tier with limited credits 30 credits/mo free Free daily credits
Premium models access ● Veo, Kling, Luma, Runway, Flux all included ● Runway models only (Gen-4.5) ● Pika models only ● Luma Ray3 only ● Kling models only
Multi-model in one platform ● 15+ models curated ● Multi-model marketplace Single ecosystem Single ecosystem Single ecosystem
Timeline editor included ● Editor included free ● Built-in Limited No NLE No NLE
Custom model training ● LoRA training included Not available Not available Not available Not available
Audio-reactive visuals ● Audioreactivity built-in Not native Not native Not native Not native
Commercial-use rights ● Creator+ ● Standard+ ● Standard+ ($28) ● Plus+ ($29.99) ● From $6.99/mo

The headline takeaway: Kaiber's Creator plan at $29/month includes 1,500 credits more than 2× the credit allowance of Runway's $15 Standard plan or Pika's $28 Standard plan at similar price points. More importantly, the same Kaiber subscription gives you access to every leading model Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Luma Ray, Runway Gen-4.5, Flux Pro under one billing umbrella. Subscribing to all of those individually would cost over $100/month combined.

Kaiber's other unique pricing advantages: Cuts (the beat-synced auto-editor) is built in at no extra cost, with no equivalent feature on competitors. Editor (the timeline NLE) is also free, where competing platforms either lack a timeline entirely or charge a separate subscription. And critically, top-up credit packs never expire on Kaiber most competitors reset credits monthly with no rollover.

Where competitors win on price

If you only need a single model (e.g., just Kling, or just Pika), single-platform subscriptions can be cheaper at entry tiers. Kling at $6.99/month with commercial rights is genuinely the cheapest entry point for AI video. Pika's $8/month basic plan is also significantly cheaper than Kaiber's $10 Starter. Kaiber's value proposition is the multi-model bundle plus the connected workflow (Canvas → Cuts → Editor) not undercutting on a per-model basis.

05 · Free Trial

Try Kaiber before subscribing.

Two short-term access options give you the full premium feature set without committing to a monthly plan. Both are explicitly documented in Kaiber's Help Center.

/ OPTION A · MOST POPULAR

5-Day Trial Subscription

$5
5 days · 300 credits · full access to all features

The 5-day trial is the most thorough way to test Kaiber. For $5 you get five full days of unlimited access to every premium feature every AI model, custom-model training, Canvas, Cuts (yes, including auto-clip videos), Editor with multi-aspect export, the full Media Library plus 300 credits to spend during the trial period.

It's designed for users who want to genuinely evaluate Kaiber against their actual workflow, not just kick the tires for fifteen minutes. Five days is enough to ship one or two real projects through the full Canvas-to-Cuts-to-Editor pipeline and see how it fits.

Important: The trial automatically converts to a Creator Monthly subscription ($29/month) at the end of day 5 unless you cancel before then. Cancellation is a single click in your account settings. Set a calendar reminder for day 4 to give yourself time to decide.
/ OPTION B · NO AUTO-RENEW

Day Pass

$8
24 hours · 500 credits · no subscription

The Day Pass gives you 24 hours of complete, unrestricted access to Kaiber, plus 500 credits. There's no subscription, no auto-renewal, and absolutely nothing happens after the 24-hour window expires. You pay $8, you get a day, you ship.

It's the cleaner option if you have a single deliverable due tomorrow and you want to use Kaiber for one specific project without dealing with subscription management. Returning users who've already used their 5-day trial often default to the Day Pass for occasional one-off projects.

Note: If you're eligible for the 5-Day Trial, you'll need to use it first before the Day Pass becomes available. Kaiber's intent is for new users to start with the longer trial, then graduate to either a subscription or pay-as-you-go Day Passes.
Both unlock everything

Whether you choose the trial or the Day Pass, you get the full premium experience every AI model, all of Cuts (including the Pro-only auto-clip feature), unlimited Canvases, the full Editor toolkit, multi-aspect export, custom-model training. The only differences are duration and credit allowance.

06 · Cancel Subscription

How to cancel your Kaiber subscription.

Cancelling is a single click in your account settings. Here's exactly what happens to your projects, credits, and access when you do and what doesn't happen.

Kaiber's cancellation policy is genuinely friendly compared to most subscription software. There are no cancellation fees, no exit penalties, no retention loops, and no calls-with-a-rep required. Open settings, click cancel, confirm. That's it.

Here's exactly what happens, step by step, when you cancel:

01

Cancel from account settings.

Sign in to Kaiber, open your account settings, and click "Cancel subscription." You'll see a confirmation dialog with the date your access ends. Confirm and you're done no follow-up required.

02

Access continues to end of period.

Your subscription remains fully active until the end of your current paid billing period. If you cancel on day 3 of a monthly cycle, you keep premium access through day 30. There's no immediate downgrade.

03

Auto-downgrade to Flex.

At the end of your billing period, your account drops to the Flex (no-subscription) tier. You lose access to premium models and your monthly credit allowance, but you keep your account and everything in it.

04

Your work stays. Forever.

Every Canvas, every saved project, every custom-trained model, every Editor My Edits entry all of it remains in your account permanently. You can sign in months later, browse your work, and even download exports.

05

Top-up credits never expire.

Any credits you previously purchased through credit packs (Mini, Small, Big, Super) remain in your account permanently. You can spend them on Flex tier without ever resubscribing they don't disappear when you cancel.

06

Re-subscribe any time.

Want to come back? Sign in and re-subscribe to any tier. Your account history, projects, and trained models all reactivate immediately. No need to rebuild your library or re-train custom models.

What does NOT happen

No refunds for partial periods. If you've already paid for the month, you keep access for the rest of the month, but Kaiber doesn't refund the remaining days. Subscription credits don't roll over. Any unused monthly credits at the end of your final billing cycle are forfeited only top-up pack credits persist. Annual subscriptions don't pro-rate. If you cancel an annual plan mid-year, you keep access through the full year you paid for, but no partial refund is issued.

For unusual circumstances billing errors, technical issues, accidental conversions from the trial contact support@kaiber.ai directly. The support team is generally accommodating on legitimate edge cases, particularly around accidental trial conversions where users meant to cancel before day 5 but didn't get to it in time.

07 · FAQ

Pricing, explained.

What's the cheapest way to start using Kaiber?
If you want to test before subscribing, the $5 5-Day Trial gives full access to every premium feature for five days plus 300 credits set a calendar reminder to cancel before day 5 if you don't want it to convert to Creator. If you want a permanent low-cost plan, Starter at $10/month is the cheapest option, but it doesn't include premium AI models, Cuts access, or commercial-use rights. For most working creators, jumping straight to Creator at $29/month ($23/month annual) is the right entry point.
Why is Kaiber more expensive than Pika or Kling?
Single-model platforms like Pika ($8/mo basic) and Kling ($6.99/mo) are cheaper at entry but they only give you access to one ecosystem. Kaiber's $29 Creator plan includes 15+ AI models (Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Luma Ray, Runway Gen-4.5, Flux Pro, and more) plus the auto-edit (Cuts) and timeline editor (Editor) products. Subscribing to all those individually would cost well over $100/month combined.
Do my unused credits roll over to the next month?
No for subscription credits they refresh and reset at each billing cycle. Yes for top-up credits purchased through credit packs (Mini, Small, Big, Super) those never expire and remain in your account permanently regardless of subscription status. If you regularly leave subscription credits unused, consider downgrading and topping up with packs instead.
What's "Premium AI models" actually mean?
Premium models are the higher-cost video and image generators integrated into Canvas Veo 3.1 (Google's native-audio model, 36 cr/sec), Kling 3.0 (long takes, ~10–15 cr/sec), Luma Ray 2/3 (~12 cr/sec), Runway Gen-4.5 (~14 cr/sec), and Flux Pro for photorealism. The Starter plan ($10) doesn't include these only the standard model library. Creator and above unlock the full premium set.
How does the annual billing discount work?
Annual billing saves 20% versus paying monthly. Starter goes from $10/month to $8/month equivalent ($96/year). Creator from $29/month to $23/month ($278/year). Pro from $99/month to $79/month ($950/year). You're billed once for the full year up front same credits, same features, lower per-month cost. Visionary remains custom-quoted regardless of billing period.
What if I want commercial-use rights?
Commercial-use rights start at the Creator tier ($29/month). The Starter plan does not include commercial use outputs are for personal projects only. If you're using Kaiber for client work, paid social ads, or monetized YouTube content, you need Creator, Pro, or Visionary. The 5-Day Trial and Day Pass both include commercial-use rights for content created during the access period.
Is there a refund policy?
Kaiber's standard policy is no-refund on used credits or completed billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for, but no partial refund is issued. For unusual circumstances accidental trial conversion, billing errors, technical issues contact support@kaiber.ai directly. Support is generally accommodating on legitimate edge cases.
Can I switch plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated for the remaining billing period you'll be charged the difference for the upgraded tier. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current cycle. There's no penalty or fee for switching tiers.
What happens to my custom-trained models if I cancel?
Custom Models you've trained via the Model Maker Flow remain in your account permanently, even after cancellation. You won't be able to run them on the free Flex tier (since custom-model usage requires premium model access), but they're saved and ready to use the moment you re-subscribe. Your training data and trained model are never deleted.
Can teams or agencies use Kaiber?
Yes for small teams, multiple Creator or Pro subscriptions work fine. For larger agencies, music labels, and brand teams running Kaiber across many seats with serious volume, the Visionary plan offers custom credits, white-glove support, dedicated account management, custom integrations (SSO, API), and SLA guarantees. Email support@kaiber.ai with your team size and volume requirements for a custom quote.
Does the trial really auto-convert?
Yes and this is important. The 5-Day Trial ($5 for 300 credits) automatically converts to a Creator monthly subscription at the end of day 5 unless you cancel before then. Cancellation is one click in account settings. If you want to avoid the conversion, set a calendar reminder for day 4. If you accidentally let the conversion happen and didn't intend to subscribe, contact support@kaiber.ai immediately they're generally accommodating on this edge case.
What payment methods does Kaiber accept?
Standard credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) plus most major digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay) for both subscriptions and one-time credit packs. Enterprise/Visionary customers can pay via invoice with net-30 terms.
